Comment #2 originally posted by reiter.christoph on 2014-09-08T14:11:00.000Z: I guess you have a favorite in the windows explorer containing an "á". Removing it should make QL work for now.. |
Comment #3 originally posted by bubakpatrik on 2014-09-08T14:18:47.000Z: I've tried to remove that, plus a few others, still persists. On Linux it never gave me this error and I've used same names, so character recognition/encoding in Windows might be the issue. |
Comment #6 originally posted by reiter.christoph on 2014-09-08T16:48:28.000Z: Can you try with the following build? https://bitbucket.org/lazka/quodlibet/downloads/quodlibet-3.2.1.-1-portable.exe |
Comment #7 originally posted by reiter.christoph on 2014-09-09T06:36:33.000Z: Is it fixed? |
Comment #8 originally posted by bubakpatrik on 2014-09-09T06:55:20.000Z: Yup, seems to be working, no crash after initial setup and switching to file system view. |
Comment #9 originally posted by reiter.christoph on 2014-09-09T06:57:30.000Z: OK, thanks. |
…ascii latin-1 code points. Closes issue #1464.
Original issue 1464 created by bubakpatrik on 2014-09-08T13:32:00.000Z:
The player is unusable on my system which makes me very sad as it's the only one I use.
On my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 I am unable to use the portable version (I don't normally use installers for obvious reasons) due to a crash that always occurs when I switch to file system use.
The previous version did not do the same, but had other bugs, like stopping playback often, or not playing songs at all.
- What did you try to do?
Couldn't do anything. I use only the file system view to browse directories but that was not possible.
- What did you expect to happen?
Show my folders with music.
- What did happen instead?
Crashed.
- Which version of Quod Libet?
3.2.1
- Which operating system including version (Ubuntu 14.04, Win7, Debian
sid)?
Win 7 Ult. x64
