Make build reproducible. Closes issue #1524.

(previous take: revision 4772f880a875e8011)

We create the pot file during build time and the creation date ends
up in pot/po and finally mo which gets installed. To make two
builds produce the same output strip the creation date from
the source po when building the .mo file.
