Cannot open VimR.app from Finder/Dock

I have no problem opening it from terminal, with either open /Application/VimR.app/ or /Applications/VimR.app/Contents/MacOS/VimR. But if I try to open it from Finder or Dock, it always crashes. Crash log attached: crash.log

I think it's probably environment variable related (it relies on some environment variables that I only defined in my bashrc).
