Just reporting here after you suggested I used seer. I used Scott's ORCID ID.

library("seer")
see("0000-0003-1444-9135")
#> SAW "0000-0003-1444-9135" ------------- 625 packages in 0.067 seconds ---
#> # # Title # Package
#> 1 gistr Work with 'GitHub' 'Gists'
#> 2 mapr Visualize Species Occurrence Data
#> 3 brranching Fetch 'Phylogenies' from Many Sources
#> 4 psych Procedures for Psychological, Psychometric, and Personal...
#> 5 rbison Interface to the 'USGS' 'BISON' 'API'
#> 6 getlandsat Get Landsat 8 Data from Amazon Public Data Sets
#> 7 crul HTTP Client
#> 8 zoo S3 Infrastructure for Regular and Irregular Time Series ...
#> 9 vcr Record 'HTTP' Calls to Disk
#> 10 fauxpas HTTP Error Helpers

Created on 2018-10-04 by the reprex package (v0.2.1)

I thus get packages where one author has an ORCID, e.g. zoo even if this ORCID is not the one I entered.

I guess it's because there's fuzzy matching somewhere.

It's because it is not quoted and dash is a work-boundary character

Oh, you can't , the R packages sends it unquoted AFAICT.

aaaah I thought it was the fault of my query i.e. that I had to URLencode() or something like that.

Yeah, the package should automatically URLencode I guess, but now it does not work, even if I encode manually.... Not sure why, because quoting works when I search on the web site.

I just updated the search query we send, and ORCID ids should work nicely now:

❯ see("0000-0003-1444-9135")
SAW "0000-0003-1444-9135" ------------------ 676 packages in 0.081 seconds ---

 1 crul HTTP Client
2 vcr Record 'HTTP' Calls to Disk
3 webmockr Stubbing and Setting Expectations on 'HTTP' Requests
 4 fauxpas HTTP Error Helpers
5 taxize Taxonomic Information from Around the Web
6 gistr Work with 'GitHub' 'Gists'
7 spocc Interface to Species Occurrence Data Sources
8 rgbif Interface to the Global 'Biodiversity' Information Facility AP...
 9 rentrez 'Entrez' in R
10 ritis Integrated Taxonomic Information System Client

I'll update the query of the web app as well.
