The revdep_check function fails to create the revdep dir if it does not exist:

> revdep_check(".", libpath="~/checkdir/", threads = 8)
Reverse dependency checks for jsonlite =========================================
Saving check results in `revdep/checks/`
Computing reverse dependencies
Error in gzfile(file, mode) : cannot open the connection
In addition: Warning message:
In gzfile(file, mode) :
  cannot open compressed file '/home/jeroen/jsonlite/revdep/.cache.rds', probable reason 'No such file or directory'

@jeroen jeroen changed the title from revdep_check cache file missing to revdep_check error if revdep dir does not exist May 9, 2016
