Doesn't Show "Comment Submitted" #119
Closed
Comments
Ah, great catch! It looks like this is a bug that only appears when a post has no comments and you leave a comment. Comments are hidden when there are no approved comments so there's no way to see your comment with the "awaiting approval" message. I'll get this fixed for the next release! |
Thank you @raamdev I had noticed this before as well, but wasn't sure if it was a bug. Glad I posted this. Did you get the comment I wrote? |
Yes, I just checked and I did get it. I have "require approval for all comments" enabled (I approve it when I write my reply, so I can keep track of which comments I've replied to), that's why yours went to moderation. |

There's no way to know if my comment has been submitted. I just wrote a comment in Blogging from the Command-Line but there's no way of figuring out if what I wrote has been sent or not.
I wrote a comment, pressed
enter
, and then the post was back to usual. No prompt that says, comment submitted or comment submit failed or comment up for moderation. It's confusing. I don't know what to do. If I write again, there's a chance that I'll write the same comment twice. And if I don't, there's a chance that my comment hasn't been sent.
