Insert large letters + big font size makes UI unnavigable

In 8.6 on my MacOS 12.6 machine, if I

1. Open "insert large letters" UI
2. Set font size to something massive (e.g. 1500)
3. Reset font size to something reasonable (e.g. 15)

The window stays at its large size. This sub-window does not have its own native close/resize option, and so the option to close this window is now permanently out of reach.
