rake db:sessions:create does not work in rails engine's root directory in rails 3.2.9. However it works in spec/dummy (for rspec). We want to put session into a rails engine. Is there way to do it? Thanks.

Could you check 3-2-stable. I think it was fixed.

I replicated this is 3.2.9 and then upgraded to 3-2-stable and I think this error still persists. I'll carry on looking into this.

how does the task fail exactly? When I use rake app:db:sessions:create inside a full engine it creates the migration for me:

invoke  active_record
create    db/migrate/20121124190655_add_sessions_table.rb

I can't reproduce the issue following the "happy path", (http://guides.rubyonrails.org/engines.html). All worked fine just like @senny said.

For the record, my environment:

$ ruby -v && rails -v
ruby 1.9.3p327 (2012-11-10 revision 37606) [x86_64-darwin12.2.0]
Rails 3.2.9

@emclab @rimian can you provide steps to reproduce this issue?

We haven't heard from you in a month. Without further information we can't resolve this issue.. I'm closing this for now but please reopen if the problem still occurs and post some extra information.
