Activerecord has many bang methods like save!, update_attributes!. But there's no destroy!. Is there any good reason for this? Otherwise I'd like to suggest to add it,

It does exist: https://github.com/rails/rails/blob/master/activerecord/lib/active_record/persistence.rb#L161

The problem I think is that it is not explained in the guides (although it is there in the api). I volunteer to review the docs later and make sure to add it if it makes sense. ;)

I think it's safe to close this issue. /cc. @frodsan

@ptn Ah good to know it'll come with rails 4.x. Rails 3.2.9 does not have it...

Ah, right. I always forget to grep the stable branch instead of master only...
