I can't figure out why this isn't working. According to the docs, I should be able to put config.sass.style= :nested in the application.rb file... but it changes nothing for me. Everything in production is compressed, and development is ... not. Has something changed in the config code?

Backstory - I need to get sass to ease up on the compression of colors, because compass gradients get screwed up in IE with three hex digit colors.

Ok, that's confusing, the doc says on the one hand:

MyProject::Application.configure do
  config.sass.line_comments = false
  config.sass.style = :nested
end

but then says:

Output compression is now controlled via the config.assets.compress boolean option instead of through the :style option.

Why suggest that option when it is ignored? Better yet, why is it ignored???? But that will be the subject of another bug ticket shortly.

Can confirm this - you really should fix that...

A large part of this was due to config lines being ignored, see the fix for #105 ... I haven't checked if this ticket is still valid after that fix.
