Actual release? #41
Comments
It is an experiment, definitely not production ready, I'd not recommend using it. Thanks. |
If you do like it I recommend to use https://github.com/apotonick/reform |
👍 |
reform it's not the same. It requires to move all validations to form object. Also you must explicitly call for validations. Any news or plans for ActionForm? |
No. Like we commented above it was an experiment and we don't plan to move it forward. |
So, why it was moved to rails repo? And all this naming changings. And conflicts with reform? And this #14? Where is disclaimer in the readme: "don't use it"? You don't plan to move forward ActionForm or any form objects in Rails? |
No. |
@n-rodriguez I'd suggest calling it something different to help disassociate it from the Rails team, such that people don't think it's something we've released and open issues on this repo. Plus we own the name on rubygems: https://rubygems.org/gems/actionform. I don't think we're looking to let go of that just yet, because we could pick this up again at some point. Otherwise 👍 on taking it up and I hope it goes well 😊 |
Any plans for a release of some sort, or even a tag? Is this production safe? I really like it, but I'm hoping for some sort of stability.
