You can clone with
HTTPS or Subversion.
Looks like homebrew supports installing a formula from a link, so this works fine:
brew install --HEAD https://raw.github.com/railwaycat/emacs-mac-port/master/emacs-mac.rb
You could update the instructions in README file to say this.

I actually created a repo for tapping emacs mac port and carton some days ago.

Since I am not going to include carton in mac-port repo, I will continue use my tap repo and would not include yours in the installation instructions. Sorry!
