The Problem

(any(), any()).Seq.join gives this error:
"This type cannot unbox to a native string: P6opaque, Junction"

Expected Behavior

(any(), any()).Seq.join should return any()

  • Operating system: Arch Linux
  • Compiler version (perl6 -v):
    This is Rakudo version 2018.09 built on MoarVM version 2018.09
    implementing Perl 6.c.

@lizmat mentioned that it's a bug for being an LTA error message, so I'm not sure about the expected behavior.

But on a List it works.

(any(), any()).join # any()
(any('a'), any('b')).join # any(ab)
