Minimalist Screen Sleeper

A screen sleeper for those who have zero or broken screen power buttons, laptops with faulty Fn keyboard modifiers, or just wanting convenience or adventure.

Author Raymel Francisco

What?

Technically a screen sleeper. For the love of Mother Earth.

How?

In Windows, it uses Win32 API's SendMessage().

For Linux though, xset dpms force off command is used.

Tips for best experience

  • Pin the app to your taskbar for easy click or [WINDOWS KEY] + [NUMBER] combinations.
  • Assigning a designated hotkey for the app eases its use as well.
