What is the problem you are having with rclone?

After configuring gcs and pasting the link to the browser (I'm not using auto config), an error shows up:
"Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app
This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In."

Two weeks ago I configured other gcs bucket, and the configuration went without problems.

What is your rclone version (output from rclone version)

rclone v1.48.0

  • os/arch: linux/arm
  • go version: go1.12.6

Which OS you are using and how many bits (eg Windows 7, 64 bit)

Ubuntu server 18.04

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

Google cloud storage

The command you were trying to run (eg rclone copy /tmp remote:tmp)

rclone config

As part of getting rclone verified (a new thing) Google notified me that I was using the wrong scope for GCS, so I updated the scopes in the latest beta.

The beta has been verified so you should find you can use that without error.

However this has the unfortunate consequence that the scope used in older rclone's will produce this error.

Or you can carry on with 1.48 - you just need to click on the scary continue anyway link (at least I think there is one - if not can you send a screenshot?)

I reran rclone config and simply change the name of the client id and that seemed to get me connected again
