Comparing a PR build of docs.readthedocs.io and the production docs.readthedocs.io, there is a noticeable flash while the fonts are loading. This seems to be that the production docs don't render the fonts at all before loading the final font, so it's not as noticeable in most cases. The effect on the PR docs was very noticeable.
