Just my opinion: the title is Real World OCaml. But the subheads are calculator, variables, functions, lists, files, variants, errors, imperative ... none of which sounds "real world" to me, it just sounds like a list of the standard topics one sees in any programming language book. Tuples do not exist in the real world, they're mathematical abstractions. Surely there's something cool I can do on page one—a few small programs that fetch & analyse tweets, prank call my neighbour over VOIP, draw an Apollonian gasket on the screen, solve the heat equation, whatever---something that screams "Application" not "Language theory".

My 2p
