Hi there,

I saw a lot of good actions for toolbar in recent sws beta, I'd like to have an action (dedicated to toolbar), that both monitor and allow me to toggle the state of the preference "automatically add envelopes when tweaking parameter in automation write mode".

It's a bit a PITA to enable parameter automation in Reaper, this action will make a good workaround, since in one hand it's a lot shorter to tweak 10 parameters than enable them by envelope menu, in the other hand it is safer to keep the preference off most of the time...

Hello Tim,

After searching for months why the "allow hiding to hidden envelope" sometimes uncheck itselfs I discovered the action you made to change "automatically add envelopes when tweaking parameter in automation write mode" change the "allow hiding to hidden envelope", which is a bit problematical...

Also I tried to change preferences values within Reascript, and it doesn't seem to work.
I was wondering if you could create a function that will be available from Reascript (as it seems to be possible now) to allow user to change a preference. The function you would create would have two parameters : 1) what preference should be changed and 2) which state should be this preference.

And another request : do you have a function to select a track from his location in mixer ? I can't write a good reascript for that, because track in mixers position are influenced by a lot of factors ( group folder to left, clickable folder states ....)
I desperetly need to select the 8th track of the mixer and the 16th track of the mixer, and I can't find a solution to it !
