From sfo...@gmail.com on July 10, 2013 08:27:56 Hi, Any joy with this? I have just downloaded the latest Beta to see if it was fixed and it isn't, in fact it's actually worse since beta 20. You used to be able to hit enter, and the dialogue would close. Now hitting enter just highlights the text and so you either have to click to close or cmd+W. So now 2 extra steps from what ut used to be. Thanks. |
From swstim on July 10, 2013 09:35:25 Well, now ReaConsole purposely doesn't close with Enter. You can use cmd-enter to close the box immediately. (ctrl-enter on windows) Seems more people wanted it docked/permanently open than not. I think I may add an option "close reaconsole on enter" Status: Started |
From swstim on July 11, 2013 21:43:15 This will be fixed in #21 r1113 . If you want to pursue enter vs cmd-enter please submit another issue and I'll add an option. The actual fix is in WDL; the fix has been submitted to Cockos for integration but in the meantime I will build with the proper code. Status: Fixed |
From sfo...@gmail.com on July 11, 2013 23:44:38 Brilliant, thanks. Will add a new issue later. |

What steps will reproduce the problem? Run any of the SWS actions to 'Open Console wit...' e.g. 'Open Console with 'P' to set track(s) pan' What is the expected output? What do you see instead? It always used to bring the console up with that letter and you just type the value, hit enter, and all is well. However since the latest Reaper version, the letter is selected / highlighted, so typing a value just deletes the letter. Instead you now have the added step of hitting the right cursor to de-select the letter before you can type a value. This seem to be happening with all letter options.
What version of SWS extension are you using? (Extensions -> About SWS...)
2.3.0 #4 What is your Reaper version number and CPU architecture (e.g. Reaper 3.75 x64)? Reaper 4.261 x32 What operating system are you running? (e.g. Windows XP/7, OSX 10.5.8 etc, 64bit?) Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1
