From jeffos...@gmail.com on April 11, 2013 11:21:13 Thanks for entering an issue, James. You beat me to it, indeed! I did preliminary tests, good news: we can attach any type of files to RPP projects, not only media files! Status: Started |
From eure.ja...@gmail.com on April 16, 2013 05:32:45 Awesome! :) |
From jeffos...@gmail.com on April 26, 2013 16:25:13 coming soon ( r1064 ), let me know what you think when it will be released! note: on save as / copy media, all attached resource files are saved too, but it'd be great to export a bookmark file in there too. Will see that later: the only issue is that it first requires bookmark file export/import features haha! Status: Done |
From eure.ja...@gmail.com on May 02, 2013 20:16:23 Finally got around to poking around at this. This is excellent! the implementation so far is beyond my expectations. I just started using bookmarks now with this new beta, they just didn't "click" in my head at first. now I have to go and make bookmarks for the projects I've been working on... but that's easy. :) This brings up a few questions. is there a limit to the number of bookmarks? and is there a way to manage them? |
From jeffos...@gmail.com on May 03, 2013 03:45:59 Great, thanks James! PS: I saw the posts in the Revolver tracks but it seems you indeed caught the bookmark idea now! (*) Well, you can also tie slot actions to any bookmark ( http://forum.cockos.com/showpost.php?p=1157737&postcount=40 ): you got that too but it's a bit "advanced", so using the default "Track Template" bookmark is possible but might confuse new comers.. |

I'm starting to use Project Templates in a big way for comps and project orgainization, one concern I have is that if I were to backup my work to another directory using save as / copy media, I have to manually remember to copy the TT folder.
I am a space cadet, I will likely lose my templates at some point for some project.
Hopefully this will be native to REAPER at some point, but perhaps for now with the extention could you add some options in the PROJECTS dialog to save or copy the media, track Templates, etcetera?
This way we could back up project directly from Resources. Set the new autosave project directory, autofill everything else from the project directory, and save it all to the new directory.
Thanks.
