When zoomed in a certain amount, the view jumps to a random location in the project, so I cannot use it for my purposes. To access the bug, horizontal-zoom all the way you can, and have edit cursor outside of view and not at time/position 0.

"Horizontal scroll to put play cursor at x%" actions now also use the edit cursor position when transport is stopped (which might explain the BR too...)
