Region Playlist: Action to skip to previous/next region

Hey guys.
Is there a way as an action to skip to the next region in a region playlist immediately? Right now I only see a smooth seek option.

Would be awesome to be able to stop/goto next(prev)/play etc from a midi cc for live use.

Is this the kind of behaviour you wish if you disable "Smooth seek (seek immediately if disabled)" in the Region Playlist Options menu (right-click the playlist)?
(btw this doesn't work with Reapers own smooth seek option afaik)

If so you could set/unset that option by action (or even compose a custom action or script which does that when switching to the next/previous region).

I'm going to make this option able to set by 3 actions

• "SWS/S&M: Region Playlist - Options - Disable smooth seek"
• "SWS/S&M: Region Playlist - Options - Enable smooth seek"
• "SWS/S&M: Region Playlist - Options - Toggle smooth seek"

after I found out how to correctly contribute to SWS.

Offtopic @ SWS guys:

As this is 99.9% JeffOS work and never contributed (but maybe will), I’m feeling uncomfortable to add my own folders/files to the SWS structure.

Do I really need this? If so I would go the same route as Snooks here.

The folders "by contributor" is, for lack of a better word, gross. The whole point of SWS is to be community focused, open source, etc. If you'd like to help out veto I wholeheartedly welcome you to hack away at the existing codebase instead of adding yet another appendage to it.

Cool, thank you Tim. As far as I understand there’s nothing more to do than to update the whatsnew (see my pull request here)?
Maybe I'll reconsider adding my own files/folders if/when I have something more substantially to add.

• SWS/S&M: Region Playlist - Play next region (based on current playing region)
• SWS/S&M: Region Playlist - Play previous region (based on current playing region)
