Angular - Laravel todo app sample

This app demonstrates the use of both Laravel as MVC architecture for php and AngularJS as front-end framework and how these technologies are tied together to make an effortless yet efficient Single Page Application.

AngularJS

AngularJS is a front-end JavaScript MVC framework created by google. It allows you to build Single-Page Application much faster and utilize a better separation of concerns principle. You can see more details here: https://angularjs.org/

Laravel

Laravel is a back-end framework created for php. This allows us to better build back-end logic by utilizing routes and build RESTful services effortlessly using MVC architecture.

Setup instructions

  1. You must install laravel first in your local machine if you don't have one. Follow the instructions here: https://laravel.com/docs/5.2
  2. Type the command: 'php artisan migrate' to create a database table from Eloquent models. Make sure you check the .env file for your local mysql db setup.
  3. Run the app by typing the command: 'php artisan serve'

If you have composer

  1. Run 'composer install'
  2. Run 'php artisan key:generate'
  3. Type the command: 'php artisan migrate' to create a database table from Eloquent models. Make sure you check the .env file for your local mysql db setup.
  4. Run the app by typing the command: 'php artisan serve'
