Examine alternatives for avoiding the boilerplate code in regression tests

@eth-cscs/reframe-devteam What do you think about the following way of writing tests without using any boilerplate code (I have already a working proof-of-concept):

@autoinit
class NewStyleBaseTest(RegressionTest):
    def __init__(self, a, b, c):
        self.name = 'new_style_%s_%s_%s_test' % (a, b, c)
        self.a = a
        self.b = b
        self.c = c


@register_test
class NewStyleTest(NewStyleBaseTest):
    def __init__(self):
        super().__init__(4, 5, 6)


@register_tests((a, b) for a in range(3) for b in range(3))
class NewStyleTest2(NewStyleBaseTest):
    def __init__(self, a, b):
        super().__init__(a, b, 10)

Of course, the decorators will be namespaced somewhere under reframe.
