• Lack of WiFi connection status when not connected to a courier.
  • I don't think we need to duplicate the WiFi connection status since the OS already displays it prominently, but I agree we could provide additional contextual info: Provide contextual help when users are trying (but failing) to connect to a courier #33
• No way for users to find Awala-compatible apps: Offer option to find and download Awala-compatible apps within the private gateways #34
• (Desktop gateway) Combine screens to migrate gateways: fix(UI): Combine gateway migration wizard into one screen awala-gateway-desktop#938
• (Android courier) Not possible to do user sync when Internet is available but slow/rate-limited/censored:
  • If the Internet is uncensored but slow for whatever reason, using a courier doesn't make sense: No matter how slow it is, it'd still be quicker to use that slow connection, than using a courier. The only exception being transferring gigabytes of data (e.g., movies), which is outside the scope of Awala and won't be supported by the gateways anyway.
  • If the Internet is censored, the user should be using a VPN or Tor instead of an Awala courier. See Circumvent Internet censorship without external apps or services #4.
• (Android courier) Unclear explanation of consequences of deleting all data: fix: Improve copy related to clearing user data relaynet-courier-android#453
