Welcome to hax. This is just a simple bot that fulfills two purposes:
- Give me a project to hack on as I learn Scala.
- Replace CodeBlock/b4bot because it sucks.
It does very little right now, but that will probably change.
- URL and Tweet Snarfing
- Karma tracking (stores in SQLite3 db)
- Some test commands
- Adding and random-retrieving of quotes (aquote, rquote)
- Weather fetching using Google’s Weather API
Standard SBT project, so just clone and
sbt update; sbt run.
We use the twitter4j library, but we need a snapshot version as opposed to the
latest release version.
Go to http://dev.twitter.com and register a new app. Take note of the consumer
key and secret, and fill these in in your Hax config.
