What about possibility to use online /data/mods.json (e.g. https://github.com/remyroy/CDDA-Game-Launcher/blob/master/data/mods.json) with fallback to local file bundled inside exe when online file is not available?

This will allow adding of mod/soundpack links without launcher update.

This was actually my plan initially. Just need to be implemented correctly.
