Hi, please take a look at proposed changes that may help preserve capitalization during export.
Please bear in mind that I am very new to JS and whatever language this is. I don't even know how to compile or interpret it :). But I'm just reproducing and sharing changes I made to the Better BibTeX translator in Forefox and it worked.

Capitalization of acronyms of two or more capital letters is especially important. For instance many conferences and organizations have acronyms, such as 'ACM', that look funny if capitalization is not preserved 'aCM'. Surrounding acronyms with curly brackets solves this problem: {ACM}. It would be great if zotero-better-biblatex could handle such a case, not on a letter by letter level, but by surrounding the entire acronym in brackets.

Just to add my 2 cents to the discussion I think that capitalization in most other cases is best handled by the citation style (csl or bst).

Wouldn't it be easier to add an option to the translator to just export all
fields surrounded by double braces?
