Thanks for making this invaluable browser extension.

This isn't a bug. As they're both browser angularjs debug tools, I was wondering could you compare your ng-inspector to angularjs-batarang? Do they have overlapping features or are they completely different?

Sure, bellow is a birds-eye summary of the differences. Keep in mind that how each extension presents each feature might be wildly different, but since they serve the same purpose I'll pair them for the sake of comparison.

Features present in both Batarang and ng-inspector

  • View the hierarchy of scopes
  • View the user models in each scope
  • See where in the DOM the scopes are attached to

Batarang features not yet present in ng-inspector

  • Dependency graph
  • Expression performance profiling

ng-inspector features not present in Batarang

  • List the controllers and directives that triggered the creation of each scope
  • Cross-browser support (Chrome and Safari currently, Firefox coming soon)
  • Look good ;)

The main motivations for this project are the fact that Batarang is Chrome-only and it hasn't been updated in a while, probably because the authors are busy maintaining AngularJS itself.
