Support for video quality > 1080p #3056

Videos with > 1080p are missing video quality > 1080p

Available in 1440p but youtube-dl lists only the following formats:

I get the 1440p version with itag 264:

I think you're using an outdated version of youtube-dl (the formats used to be listed in the reverse order, as in your output). Run sudo youtube-dl -U (or youtube-dl -U on windows) to upgrade.

If you still have the problem with the last version, post the output of the command I used and we will reopen the issue.

@ddurdle What is the output of youtube-dl --version on your system? I can confirm @jaimeMF 's post - it works fine for me with the current version of youtube-dl.

I had installed the latest version last night prior to posting, but it seems I hadn't overwritten the original version, as looks like I have two versions installed:
youtube-dl --version
2013.11.11
/usr/local/bin/youtube-dl --version
2014.06.04

Testing against 2014.06.04 this morning, I see the 1440p stream.
