Original report from Matt Robinson at 16:44:24 on 2007-11-05
The window position and the window size should be restored when the application is re-opened.
Imported from Bug 27 in the NerdoftheHerd.com Bugzilla.
Original comment from Matt Robinson at 18:30:35 on 2010-05-23
As Chris pointed out in bug 256, the implementation of this needs to be able to cope when the desktop has changed size between runs (such as removing an external monitor).

Implemented in 698528e. As well as saving and restoring the state, this also does some extra processing on start-up to check that the window will be visible and is not in a location that is now off-screen, or hidden behind the taskbar.
