Instead of being redirected, my users are getting a page not found error. Possibly some weird interaction with the 'social-login' plugin?
I'll take a look. Is it this plugin? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/oa-social-login/
Yep, that's the one. Thanks!
It could also have something to do with me running on heroku and/or using a custom permalink. I'm going to try the standard /?p=# permalink and see if that works.
I'll start out by saying that if it weren't for the header and options page code, this plugin would be less than 10 lines of code. I originally thought (and saw in their code) that they were modifying the login page (they are), and this was causing the issue, because l am serious when I say this plugin is a simple do or die be logged in or else plugin. However, I just enabled the social login plugin on a test install, set it up, then installed and enabled wp-require-login, and had no problems whatsoever, and could login using both a standard preset account and created a new account through the social plugin.
I don't think the permalink is the problem, but let me know if that helps.
Do you have any other plugins that might be modifying the login page?
Hey richard. I do think the permalink problem has helped...I think there's a recently fixed bug in the fork of wordpress for heroku that I was using...it was missing the .htaccess problem and creating weird issues. Thanks for all your help!
