Hi there,

Thanks for Right AWS!

I found that Right AWS will over ride ActiveSupport in Rails 3 causing all sorts of constant not found errors to come up. This patch handles that.

It also puts in a Gemfile and an explicit gemspec, this allows Bundler to reference the repository directly from the Gemfile.

Can this be patched in newer gem? Everyone using bundler will have the same issue ...

This is a serious problem for anyone wanting to use RightAws with Rails 3. Simply put it does not work.

This could probably simplify to ActiveSupport since I don't see how you can avoid getting the core extensions in Rails 3.

Until then you can work around this with this snippet in your application.rb

module ActiveSupport::CoreExtensions 
end
