Umm, I am not really sure this script is really needed in the end. test-network-registration seems to do the same. For instance:

./test-network-registration /ril_0/operator/21403

That script also has more functionality, you can go back to "auto" registration mode doing:

./test-network-registration /ril_0 default

Besides that the script is fine, but whitespaces need to be changed to tabs to follow ofono scripts conventions.
