Add PEAR package.xml. See #5
This needs to be updated on each release, which is somewhat stupid. I much prefer Composer's style, but hey, PEAR can be nice too.
Has the associated PEAR server been setup? http://sauce.io/index.php/2011/04/how-to-serve-php-packages-with-github/ explains how you can just use github as your server. I have a project I want to distribute using PEAR and its using Requests. I could host it myself (https://github.com/Element-34/pear), but its your project so doing so would feel a bit weird.
@adamgoucher: Sorry for not getting back to you, June was a rather busy month for me. :)
I left a comment on adamgoucher/Requests@7dabd32 regarding PEAR. I'm aiming to release Requests 1.7 this week, so the PEAR repository will be set up for that.
As per my previous comment, is there anything that needs changing in order to allow PEAR packages? I see you've moved all the files around, however it doesn't look like that's actually needed with the newer package build script.
This is now complete; see pear.ryanmccue.info
