Platform:
Mac or iPhone/Touch

ipod touch

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. upload file
2. click on table of contents
3. touch a heading (not the arrow, touching the arrow works as expected)
touch the heading anywhere. The line is highlighted in blue but it does not
open that section of the table of content.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
instead it brings me back to either the front page or the page I was
viewing previously (again touching the blue arrow works well, so I think it
is a "simple bug" to fix, but it is quite important to correct since the
browsing is impeded.
Hope to have a fix soon, I just bought the app and so far it looks promising.
Thanks

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

I can not reproduce the bug with chm files in my hand. It may related to some
encoding issues with specific chm files. Can you send the file to me or attach
it
here? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply,

Sure here is a file on which I have the issue
http://rapidshare.com/files/162942896/Ferri_s_Clinical_Advisor_2008_Instant_Diag
nosis_and_Treatment.chm
I apologize in advance for the large file (56 MB) but the two others I have are
a bit
larger even...
Please let me know if you were able to reproduce the issue,

Thanks !

Jaques

ps: it may infact be a problem with the file itself, but I am no expert....

Jaques, I've got the file.

When I click on titles like "SECTION I -..." or titles like "A", "B" ect, it
does
what you said. But if I click on titles like "Baker's Cyst", it goes back to the
previous page and takes 2 or 3 seconds to load the page, but loads the correct
page
eventually. That is because the file is not small and iPhone/iPod touch is not
that
powerful as Mac.

In the next version, I could add an indicator when the page is loading.

Yes that is the behavior I had, do you think there is a fix for the "Section I"
issue, or do you think we are limited by the iphone/ipod touch performances,
Thanks,

In fact, the titles like "Section I" point to nothing. For tiles like "Abruptio
Placentae", there's an attribute 'local' pointing to a file location like
"./HTML/5.htm". But there's no such thing for "Section I". It's not a
performance issue.

Check it with iChm for mac or even view it on Windows. No pages for titles like
"Section I".
