Patch works.

There is a reason why it is still unmerged?

Giovanni,

I do not know a reason why it is still unmerged. I have been using the
patch on my local machine since this pull request was started and have
not seen ill effects.

I stubled upon the same issue. The patch doesn't work for me :(
