Data Science Portfolio

Portfolio of data science, machine learning, and data analysis projects made by Robert Ritz. The majority of projects are contained in Jupyter Notebooks. When possible the actual data is included for reproducibility. Write ups for each project are linked and are hosted on Medium.

Machine Learning

Air Pollution Prediction: Created a random forest regression model to predict PM2.5 air pollution in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Four part write up, notebooks, and data are located in this Github repository. Key Skills:

Earthquake Damage Prediction: As part of my capstone project for my Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science certificate I created a classification model to predict damage level to buildings effected by the 2015 Nepal earthquake. Finished in the top tier of students in the course. Github repository. Key Skills:

Dashboards and Visualizations

Mongolia Crime Dashboard: Created a crime dashboard for Mongolia. Calculated crime rate down to the soum/khoroo (county/neighborhood) level. Scraped data from the public website of the Mongolian National Police Agency. Link to Medium writeup. Key Skills:
