This update was carried out manually and each single link was checked for active mixed content or HTTPS misconfiguration.

Only links that stayed with HTTP:

- rOpenSci will **promote your package** through our [webpage](https://ropensci.org/packages/), [blog](https://ropensci.org/blog/), and [social media](https://twitter.com/ropensci). Packages in our suite are also distributed via our [drat repository](http://packages.ropensci.org/) and [Docker images](https://hub.docker.com/r/rocker/ropensci/), and listed in our [task views](https://github.com/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=user%3Aropensci+%22task+view%22&type=Repositories&ref=searchresults).

  • marker.to because of mixed content blocking

R is now a [natively supported language on Travis-CI](http://blog.travis-ci.com/2015-02-26-test-your-r-applications-on-travis-ci/), making it easier than ever to do continuous integration. See [R Packages](http://marker.to/NEr8Bd) and Julia Silge's [Beginner's Guide to Travis-CI for R](http://juliasilge.com/blog/Beginners-Guide-to-Travis/) for more help.

  • r-pkgs.had.co.nz and adv-r.had.co.nz because HTTPS is not configured but I think these links should be updated to https://r-pkgs.org/ and https://adv-r.hadley.nz/ respectively. I can do this in this PR or in another one. Whatever is more convenient for you.

Wow thank you so much!

I can do this in this PR or in another one. Whatever is more convenient for you.

In this PR please.

Can you also add an item in the NEWS section of Appendix.Rmd? And make sure your name is listed on the last line of index.Rmd? Thanks!

This update was carried out manually and each single link was checked for active mixed content or HTTPS misconfiguration

No problem 😄! I may be slightly obsessive about using HTTPS so you're totally welcome.
