Do you have a way to reproduce this problem? What version of Rubinius are you using?

@lumrandir

$ rbx --version
rubinius 2.2.3.n16 (2.1.0 293c8a9 2014-01-16 JI) [i686-linux-gnu]

I'm also using Puma (2.7.1) and Rails (3.2.16).

I can regularly reproduce this crash (I just upload some CSV in my application), but I'm unable to provide a meaningful stack trace. I don't even know which function call leads to this mess.

Do you think you could extract a demo app with just the CSV uploading part that would reproduce the problem? That way we can use that as a starting point for debugging.

@lumrandir

Well, I could try. It would take some time though.

And thank you for the responses.

@lumrandir Any news on this, did you manage to find a way to reproduce the problem with the current Rbx release?

@lumrandir

@YorickPeterse well, we've set aside the idea to use rubinius in production for a while, so no news on this. I think this issue should be closed for now.

@lumrandir Is there anything you can share on the reasoning for not using Rubinius in production? If so, feel free to pop in IRC or discuss it here. I'll close this issue for the time being then, feel free to re-open if needed.
