My Rundeck detail

  • Rundeck version: 2.6.9-1
  • install type: deb
  • OS Name/version: Debian Wheezy 7.8

Expected Behavior
Before our last Rundeck update to 2.6.9, we were able to access the RSS feed without authentication. This was important because we fetch some information from the feeds for a HTML status page.

Actual Behavior
After update to 2.6.9 the feeds seem to be protected. When accessing without authentication, I get the error "Authentication is required". I couldn't find any related change in the change logs so I'm wondering when and why this behaviour was changed.

How to reproduce Behavior
Just try to access the RSS feed without authentication / login.

With the current version, is there a possibility to access the RSS feeds without login?
If no, how can I access the feeds via cURL with using authentication?
When was this behaviour changed? Where is the related issue / change log entry?

Thanks for help.

Just deployed the new version and can confirm, the bug is fixed!
Thanks a lot for the quick support :)

BTW: That's the usecase why we need the public RSS feed:
