Tanjun

This gem is an attempt to simplify the Rails development process by automating as many tasks as possible.

Automated Install

You can setup a Tanjun compatible development enviroment using the bootstrap script. This currently only tested with Ubuntu ~> 11.04. It will install the following:

  • Applications: vim google-chrome-stable git
  • Dependencies: build-essential openssl libreadline6 libreadline6-dev zlib1g zlib1g-dev libssl-dev libyaml-dev libsqlite3-dev sqlite3 libxml2-dev libxslt1-dev autoconf libc6-dev libncurses-dev automake libtool bison subversion
  • Rubies: 1.9.3
  • Gems: bundler tanjun rails passenger hub
  • Directories: ~/projects

It will also install RVM, make 1.9.3 the default ruby and configure your git repos to work with your Github account. It will also configure your
