This Kunena plugin will let you use Easyprofile avatar and profile page natively opposed to via the Jomsocial bridge. The plugin gives you also the choice wether to use the Kunena default User List or a predefined Easyprofile User List and has the possibility to choose which avatar to use for Kunena guests: the default Easyprofile avatar or the default avatar specified in the Easyprofile avatar field (your own uploaded version)

Download and installation

You can download the zip file from github. unzip it and rezip the containing plg_kunena_easyprofile directory. You now have an installable Joomla 3.x plugin.


In the administrator back-end you can find the plugin and configure the following:

  • Enable Easyprofile Avatars: No / Yes
  • Kunena Guest Avatar: Easyprofile default / Avatar default
  • Enable Easyprofile Profiles: No / Yes
  • Easyprofile user list: No / Yes
  • Easyprofile User List menu item: dropdown list with all Easyprofile user list entries

Special note

If you where using the JomSocial bridge please remember to disable the plg_kunena_jomsocial plugin Tested with Kunena 3.x and 4.x (beta)
