RVM is reporting:

cp: cannot overwrite directory /Users/me/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.9.3-p286@global/cache with non-directory /Users/me/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.9.3-p194@global/cache

but the symlink is there for both.

I have added a test here: rvm/rvm-test@cd099a4 but I could not reproduce your error, what was your command and can you gist it's trace?
