rvm upgrade should be smarter #797

@gucki

Here's the list of my currently installed rubies

rvm rubies
   jruby-1.6.3 [ amd64 ]
   ruby-1.8.7-p357 [ x86_64 ]
=* ruby-1.9.3-p0 [ x86_64 ]
   ruby-1.9.3-p0-perf [ x86_64 ]

Now I upgraded to rvm 10.0.3, which supports ruby-1.9.3-p125. But when executing rvm upgrade 1.9.3 I get:

Are you sure you wish to upgrade from ruby-1.9.3-p125 to ruby-1.9.3-p0? (Y/n):

Which of course doesn't make any sense, because I don't have p125 installed and this we'd be a downgrade and no upgrade...

@defeated

confirmed this is working after rvm get head

$ rvm upgrade 1.9.2
Are you sure you wish to upgrade from ruby-1.9.2-p180 to ruby-1.9.2-p318? (Y/n): y

:thumbsup:

(would be great to get a .4 release tagged, seems like fixing upgrade would be pretty important.)

@defeated check the docs, upgrade works when given with two versions, what I have added is a new algorithm and it needs more testing

the idea of stable is to keep it working, pushing every new change to stable without giving it time could be dangerous
