  • Works with another variant of the python magic library
  • Also guesses Content-Encoding, which is useful when uploading gzipped web content
  • Sample magic file for getting better detection of web file types. This is very rudimentary as I'm not an expert in writing libmagic rules...

I have an additional patch in my mime-fixes branch now to add support for file-5.11 python bindings, which is what Fedora distributes. The problem was, calling magic.Magic(flags=mime.MIME_MAGIC) failed with a TypeError because flags isn't a supported argument. You have the right code path within the except AttributeError path, so I copied that.
