Using Baikal 0.4.5
iOS 9.3.2

I've setup Baikal with sqlite. The inital transfer of contacts from Mac OS X to Baikal worked well. I've successfully configured the contacts on iOS 9.3.2, the initial list was successfully transferred to the device.

When I create a new contact on the device then it is not transferred to the baikal server. I had a look at the access logs. There were not PUT requests to create new contacts.

I've checked the old issues but the similair issues are closed as fixed.

If you need more information please let me know.

  • Is there a possibility you have more than 1 account setup?
  • Does iOS still display the contact, even if creation failed? Maybe it landed in a local address book?

  • it is a one-user setup (1 user with 1 addressbook and two calendars)
  • iOS still displays the contact. I double checked the local addressbook: I have no local contacts. I have two iOS devices, both show the same behaviour.
  • The iOS device still displays the contact after creating it.

I just had a similar problem with contacts not syncing and found out, that i did the upgrade of my baikal installation from 0.4.4 to 0.4.5 by a package manager and didn't visited the upgrade page in the web browser. After the upgrade everything was working again.

The same thing is happening to me. I installed 0.4.4 and never got it to work correctly with iOS 9.3.2. Contacts would sync to iOS initially, but any updates or new contacts would not sync to the server. Mac OS X 10.11.5 works just fine.

I upgraded to Baikal 0.4.5 today, clicked 'upgrade' in the Baikal admin, and iOS is still not updating the server.

Similar problem here.

I was running an old version of Baikal that worked but nuked it and started from scratch with the most recent one.

My iOS contacts sync but the OS X (El Capitain) Addressbook does not. I tried both 0.4.4 and 0.4.5.
