A nice addition would be a feature to allow several computers running Sonic Pi to have a sync feature via the network to allow them all to start playing together. Maybe even extend cue and sync to have specified machine as target passing cues back and forth. Sonic Pi orchestra results! I tried the same thing with 24 networked BBC model B computers using a hacked version of the program The Music System in the 1980s . Played a Brandenburg Concerto with them. Sounded great.

Don't worry - it's already on the todo list. I have basic prototypes of this running already :-)

is there something that we can try, even prototype?
having a collaborative workshop with kids will be so nice.

You can now send an osc message between two Sonic Pi machines. I don’t think broadcast works but you you could individually link several machines with separate messages. You might have to add some sleep commands to sync them but worth a try. I have done this with 2 machines.

The ability to send OSC messages over the network and have them be received as cues on another machine (which can be synced on) was part of v3.0:-)
