unable to create issues without user associated

After ekanban Installation i can't create new issues or modify an existing one with no user assigned.
Why?

I have the same issue, and its affecte all the redmine project, not only the projet where Kanban is activate

There was a discussion about it in #23
The reason as I understand it is that it can't be blank because otherwise you can't calculate things like WIP (work in progress).
It applies to all projects because it is done as a patch to the Redmine issues.

I think the general advice given was to assign the issue to a group if it isn't possible to determine the actual user at the time.
