  • Currently the "switch" is based on what's the sign between the difference of frontal and posterior alpha power
  • to be controlled via:
    • "closing the eyes and relax" VS
    • "closing the eyes and moving the eye balls"
  • this turned out to be a bit volatile in a testing session

What works pretty well is:

  • eyes open and no blink: posterior and frontal alpha are about the same
  • eyes open and blink: frontal alpha is a lot stronger
  • the switch is thus 0 if frontal and alpha are within some tolerance, and 1 if frontal is >> posterior
  • and the EEG subject would exploit this to control the switch
